Weight Loss Friendly Desserts - Healthy Crepes


Loosing weight is always hard, especially if you don´t really know a lot about healthy food. You may think your diet has to be plain and restrictive, but this is so not true. There is a variety of food to choose from and prepare to your own taste. Your meal plan can be a real culinary experience which you will grow to adore and never look back again. I mean check out these crepes, am I right?

My guilty pleasure are desserts! Chocolate, sweets, candy, cakes, ice cream - you name it! It is all about sugar. So I am always looking for new healthy ways to make low calorie desserts with no regrets. When my (future) father in law started to live a Paleo lifestyle and got really healthy and fit in just a few months, I started to look into it. It really works for some people and I think I can get used to this diet for a while. But not for too long, since I love desserts, milk and yogurt. But I do follow a lot of Paleo recipes just because it is great to cook healthy. So this recipe is perfect for you if you are on a Paleo diet! Tapioca flower is a clean starch, so it fits perfectly to a Paleo lifestyle every once in a while. Here is what I think about Diets - you don´t have to be 100%, if your heart is not set on it. I cannot imagine life without a few guilty pleasures every once in a while and that is fine with me. I am happy with my 75% healthy lifestyle. So I prepare a lot of healthy foods! I do mean a lot. I know tons about dieting, calorie intake and food in general. I read a lot and I am happy to share my knowledge with others. So here is a great recipe for your sweet tooth :)

Healthy crepes with only three ingredients:

1 banana
2 eggs
1 cup of tapioca flower

Blend it and make crepes (you will probably make 4 with this recipe - I did). Then add all the fruits you want and enjoy! Also, do not add sugar, they are sweet enough because of the banana.
My favourite toppings for any crepes or pancakes is plain cottage cheese and fruits. I love cottage cheese on its own and I think it makes this dessert really refreshing and delicious.
