Friday Fiesta: Greet Your Guests With Good Old Cookies and Milk

6/05/2015

Friday is here again! You probably already have some plans - maybe you invited some of your friends and family to a little get together, maybe you are going out partying or maybe you are simply chilling out at home with your loved ones. Whatever your plans are, I hope you are going to have a great time! For those of you who are staying in though - I prepared a delicious cookies recipe. Everyone will love them, I promise! :)

Ingredients

500 grams of flower
200 grams of powder sugar
1 whole butter
1 baking soda
1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup of chopped walnuts
200 grams of chocolate chip
1 cup of raisins (optional)

Directions

Heat oven to 180° C.

In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla and eggs until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips, walnuts and raisins by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop dough by tablespoons onto baking sheet, about 3 inches apart.

Bake until the edges are lightly toasted, for about 15 - 20 minutes. Cool on baking sheets and serve with love.

Optional: Add some coconut flower (if you love coconut) and dip the cookies in melted milk chocolate - it tastes awesome! :)
