To refresh you´re memory, this series is about showing you 2 lovely products that work amazing but are different in price, formula, finish, you name it. I am showing you their strengths and weaknesses and it is up to you to pick you´re favourite. Let me present you 2 of my most used highlighters.

This is my everyday highlighter. It is very pigmented compact powder. It looks pink in the pan but it only leaves a beautiful golden sheen on the cheeks. I prefer golden undertones in my highlighters because if warms up my complexion. A little goes along way and it stays on all day long. It looks quite subtle so it is perfect for everyday use, but it can be build up to more intensity. Mine is in the shade 010-Fairy Dust. Another great thing is its price, it is very affordable, you can get it for around 5 EUR. Honestly I have no complaints with this one.

I have a sample size High Beam that I bought as a part of Benefit Go TropiCORAL Lip and Cheek Kit, but this little container will last you a long time. It is very pigmented, you really need just a little bit. Unlike Catrice Highlighter it leaves a silver, almost white shine. It is not the perfect shade for my liking but is amazing for the nights out. I mostly use it on special occasions because I find it too intense for everyday use. It is very easy to apply, blends instantly and stays on for hours. Another plus is its convenient packaging and it is travel friendly. The only downside is the price. Benefit is a higher end make-up brand, so it´s no surprise it has a higher price tag. But this product is worth every cent it really is amazing.

So there you have it, short and sweet. I love both of these highlighters the same, I just use them on different occasions and for different looks. Which one is you´re ultimate choice.
